It's an excellent pasttime. I don't feel I am at BogWalk Gorge level yet, but country roads.... I RULE!!!!
Now you must be doing at least 70KPH and you must be on winding barely maintained parochial roads. I won't expect a first run on a night road but do a run in the afternoon and then do the reverse at night. That will show your skill and make it fair.
Kingson roads are useful for training purposes but add the pedestrians are like the tires tied to the waists of runners in training. I would suggest slower speeds in Kgn at first.

i actually use to treat it as a serious game on my way home from pan at night. cuz there's a road ( i think wellington road or drive or street) that the potholes changed position every night. and it was kinda fun to dodge. -kinda. ok not fun but interesting
