I've never really thought of myself as a commitment-phobic person but recently I have so many friends around me talking of marriage and planning weddings - they're dropping like flies everywhere I look. I was beside one such friend when his girlfriend of a year calls to tell him she's looking at land for building, and she's about 5 yrs younger than me.
It honestly started freaking me out.The first thought that comes to mind is what are these people doing talking marriage when they have their whole lives ahead of them, then reality hit - they may actually be on the right track/ time line and it's me who's out of it.I'm mid-20s now. Don't know exactly what that means, but for years I've gotten the question on my birthday "so how does it feel to be (insert appropriate age here)?" and my answer has always been "same as when I was (insert previous age here)".Then one day it creeps up on you that you're mid-20s, mid-20s! I know I've changed but I don't know when.When did I enter the age of marriage and children and steady jobs?
