So today, while driving around with my parents, I witnessed 3 traffic accidents.
2 were kinda typical - guy turning a corner not realizing that 1 of the 2 cars needing to give him way didn't stop, the other a honda ran right into/under the rear of a bus. They both resulted in pretty bad damages to the vehicles involved but noone seemed to be injured.
The third accident on the other hand was borne out of pure stupidity. So we're in the turn right lane to go from Trafalgar unto Knutsford. The traffic light to go straight down in the direction of Lady Musgrave was green while we had red.
This guy riding a brand new bike (like he just JUST got it) going straight, picks up speed and attempts to do a wheelie. The bike slipped from beneath him, he lost control and the bike threw him. While it skidded over to the far right of the road, hitting the curb and being deflected back into the road, the rider rolled to the far left side of the road, stopping just a few inches from a car which had stopped.
Someone up there liked him.
We got green, turned and pulled over to tell one of the many police officers in New Kingston, and proceeded on to the safety of home.

  • Why do I always miss these things? I don't wanna see them dead, but sometimes they need to be dropped on the ass to wake up.

  • and to think, it was right around the corner from your office. But I think God has a reason for not letting certain people see certain things
